Roadmap
KMM Ferries is being developed in phases, starting with chartered vessels and moving toward purpose-built new buildings.
This phased model allows the business to launch earlier while building toward a long-term fleet solution.
Timeline
Phase 1:
Online booking system via KMM Ferries Ltd Website and schedules
Phase 2:
Delivery of the chartered in vessels within a commencement window in Q4 2026
Phase 3:
Newbuildings signing with the agreed upon shipyard within Q3/Q4 2026. Two separate designs –
(1) HullMax design taking into consideration the Port of Hull beam restrictions. Design will be approximately 2,500 lane meters.
(2) ImminghamMax design without the same restrictions as Hull and so approximately 3,300 lane meters.
Delivery from 2030.
Phase 4:
Replacement of chartered in tonnage with the newbuilding purpose built British Flag tonnage within 2030.
This phased approach supports early market entry, operational stability, and long-term growth on a route designed for modern freight demand.
